Build a new Science Lab
The St. Anthony School, located in north Lebanon, educates 600 students, 300 of whom could not pay their tuition fees for the 2014-2015 academic year. The school suffers from a large deficit now and is unable to pay for new equipment or learning materials as a result.
The school previously lacked a laboratory, which is essential for every school as it is part of the required educational curriculum. However, the students could not be offered laboratory sessions.
Education Opportunities for Lebanon was able to equip the school with a science lab to improve the students’ education, including a laboratory bench for the teacher and students, 24 stools, 8 wall cabinets as well as provision for basic physics, chemistry and biology materials, for a cost of $15,642.
